| The cableway to Czantoria mountain was built in the years 1965-1967 and commissioned for the masses of tourists in October 1967. In the years 1991-1994 it was modernised, which resulted in its increased capacity. However, the most important and expensive investment in the history of the Czantoria cableway was the exchange of the cableway into a four-sitter chairlift in December 2006. Stokłosica is so called second clearing on the eastern slope of the mountain. These clearings were used for grazing sheep in the old times, and the top has been visited by the poet of highland culture Władysław Orkan several times. Czantoria is being visited by crowds of tourists at present. The lower station of the Czantoria cableway is situated in Ustroń Polana, and the top one on the eastern slope of Stokłosica clearing. You must walk from this point on top of Czantoria mountain (about 20 min.) using the blue trail.
